Speeding Tickets

Most people have received a Speeding Ticket.  Most don’t know the severe impact that speeding tickets could have on their daily lives.  They simply pay the fine.

Once you pay a speeding ticket, it goes on your driving record and will be seen by insurance companies and employers for the next three years.  A speeding ticket on your record will likely increase your insurance premiums for the next three years. A single speeding ticket can cause an increase in your rates from 19 to 25 percent according to insurance industry estimates.

A speeding ticket will also impact your driving record and may affect your driver’s license.  In Washington, if you have 3 moving violations on your record in a 12-month period, your license gets suspended.  If you have 4 moving violations on your record in a 24-month period, you license will also be suspended.  After receiving such a suspension, you will need to complete a driver’s safety course and obtain high risk, SR 22 insurance, before your license can get reinstated.

The good news is you can avoid all this by hiring an experienced traffic attorney.  If you hire me to fight your ticket, you will not need to deal with the court.  I will schedule the court date, get the police report and go to court for you.  This is what I do all day every day.  All I do is fight tickets.  I can help you fight your speeding ticket and keep it from going on your record.  If you would like to avoid higher insurance rates and keep the ticket from effecting your record, give me a call and I can help you.
